So So....SILQ , Nothing wrong but nothing Special

This weekend, I ended up staying at this city hotel at Asoke area, Bangkok. The place called SILQ Bangkok.

This all began by our Client-friend, David who left a wine for us after his stay in Bangkok at this hotel. So, I figured if we have to come here to pick up the wine, might as well Check in for a weekend to see why he likes staying here.

The overall styling is not bad to my eyes, clean and simple.

The lobby is on the second floor, the only floor of the building with the big glass window panels. The building seems good for a serviced apartment and not bad for what they are, a small hotel.
Lobby area with the small bar which I do not see any guests there at night. One of the guest sat outside in front of hotel to enjoy his drink alone. Mostly the guest went out.

Got in to the room, a bit of Thai-ness design cue at the headboard, in the lift mirror and the cabinet doors.

Here we go, the complimentary wine from David with my name card on it. So surprise that he carries my business card with him even though, we have been working for him nearly a year already. That makes me feel better than the wine only.

The wine will be for tomorrow lunch with our China trip gang gathering.

Good size of Tv screen they offer.

Pretty big size of toilet seat and big sink for this type of hotel.

Very nice detail of their tissue box which the tissue itself were arranged as a flower, I suppose this is not just coincidence.

Once I unpacked and put together my traveling Tea and Coffee maker set, together with the wine, suddenly this corner seems really interesting.

weekend wardrobe!

Actually the First thing that catches my eyes when to room door was opened, was my reflection on the wall artwork! So, I had to capture it for my self-portrait collection.

Since we are so close to one of the BKK-night entertainment, our dinner is set to be at Soi Cowboy!

Soi Cowboy observation!
Full Fun and Sad

The street all lid up in neon light, marked the entertainment district. Seem convenient location here, so you do not need to go to PatPong when you can get the same right in the middle of BKK city.

The girls are young and in quite in a good shape and since they got influenced by Korean girl gang, they all dress in team. Exciting at first but sadly at last. If you are marked by number and be called by number, how would you feel? One of the girl,# 24, said she has to learn and pass certain test to be able to act on her own without awing permission all the time from Old colleague, A.K.A. "ma ma san" I just want to take a picture with her and her girl gang, they are still student and could not make their mind freely. " Have to ask ma ma san" and of course, the answer was NO, No Photo.

I can't help but wonder, as a young girls like them, yes they should be a student in certain university preparing to graduate and out to make the most of their professional life. Yet it is odd that they chose another university right in the heart of BKK called " Cowboy U" once graduated, what degree they will get? The Cowboy girl?

Signing off of this interesting weekend world....
